Biography

Noriyuki MASUDA was born in Nagasaki, Japan.

Noriyuki MASUDA started playing guitar in his early childhood under his parents and studied at Hochschule fuer Musik Koeln, Germany, under Prof. Tadashi Sasaki and Prof. Hubert Kaeppel, with DAAD scholorship and the Nomura cultural foundation scholorship.

He graduated successfully and received his Master degree in September 2010. And he has studied in Konzertexamen at Hochschule fuer Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, under Prof.Tomasz Zawierucha.

Noriyuki Masuda took also some master classes and private lessons with Oscar Ghiglia, David Russel, Robert Aussel, Pavel Steidl, Carlo Marchione, Alvaro Pierri, Thomas Mueller-Pering, Joaquin Clerch and Hopkinson Smith.

Noriyuki Masuda won 15 prizes at international guitar competitions, and gives concerts as soloist, chamber musician and with Orchestra, in Europe and Japan.
